Mick CollopyA multi-talented pianist, guitarist, singer and composer, Mick has played in a number of rock and soul bands in Melbourne, Australia. His six-strong soul band reached the stage of selling out venues on a regular basis, with queues stretching down the street to get in.
A highlight for Mick was playing to 7000 people in Melbourne Sports Arena, in support of the great BB King.
Martin DysterA season-ticket holder and sound installation manager for television, Martin has a small collection of expensive guitars including a Paul Reed-Smith which you hear on 'Cooking up a Storm (Reading FC)'.
Neil SadlerNeil has run nomachine studio in Wokingham for more than 12 years (0118 9793921). He also has a rehearsal complex with rooms available at competitive prices. As well as running the studio, Neil is a musician of no mean ability and plays in two semi-pro blues bands. Paul MumfordPaul returned to playing the sax on this song after a seven-year absence from music. Having said that, if you had spent ten years on the road with a ska punk band, you would throw in the towel eventually! Here’s an insight into Paul’s past, from a review of one gig during his time with the Long Tall Texans:
Hugh SpaldingA fan of loud shirts and long nights, Hugh spent most of his disposable income on vinyl records and concert tickets in his formative years. He started writing songs four years ago. One of those songs has become ‘Cooking up a Storm (Reading FC)’.
Trish Nawacki (‘Navatski’)Trish has been involved in singing and theatrical work for the last 20 years and has
sung in various rock, pop and folk bands in the West Country and the South East.
Trish runs her own business (www.madacademy.com ), teaching music and dance to over 250 children every week in the Reading and Newbury areas.
