Hugh Spalding is a regular on the Berkshire acoustic scene. You might have seen him at the sublime Unplugged and Intimate (South Hill Park), One Night Stand Acoustic (Church Crookham and Ascot Jagz), the Harte and Garter (Windsor), the Swan (Arborfield), the 3B's (Reading), Backporch (Hook), or Goring Unplugged or the Walkabout (Reading).
(2008 ..he's now playing with Savour the Flavour)

'Hugh writes golden pop nuggets, "with a voice that sounds like a cross between David Byrne and Al Stewart"' according to one observer.

"What a wonderfully off the wall performer this guy is. Strange, different, unique but somehow it all works beautifully. A lot of singer-songwriters, it seems, play well and write meaningful lyrics which...don't really mean very much. Hugh's got a different angle which includes a nice bit of humour as well. Let's hope he becomes one of our regulars." www.backporch.co.uk

" And so to our final act. Hugh presents a disarming and enjoyable spectacle. A great end to a great night" onenightstandacoustic.co.uk
